Our origin story…

Miguel Hall started tattooing at the age of 19 - after nearly 15 years, a lot of tattoos, and more than a few gray hairs, he’s achieved his dream and opened Tattoo Hideout, his very own private tattoo studio!

Miguel focuses on highly personalized anime, cartoon, comics, and graphic art tattoos, though he also loves geometric patterns and line work. He takes particular pleasure in creating mashups or mixing characters together - whatever your idea, reach out and he can make it happen!

He is deeply passionate about the Hideout being a safe, comfortable environment for everyone. All are welcome, and Miguel is proud be trusted to tattoo many clients in the LGBTQIA+ community as well as those with melanated skin (we know it can be a struggle, and we’ve got you covered! Quite literally.).

Miguel met Maddie in 2024 and his life changed forever. After falling in love, they had the privilege of visiting Tokyo, where Miguel got the inspiration for a lot of the decor in Tattoo Hideout.

Maddie helps out with the logistics of Tattoo Hideout - whether it’s assisting with back-end scheduling support, keeping the snacks stocked, or hyping you up about your next tattoo, Maddie is here to help!

We try to be as accessible as possible - you can find Miguel and Maddie on Instagram, email us at BookingsforMiguel@gmail.com, or book / contact us through this website. Your friendly neighborhood tattoo artist is ready to swing into action whenever you need!
